Need for math proficiency - PEOP Sad to watch this morning, with Earthlink's announced buyout of PEOP for $ 10 million. PEOP has about 551 million shares, and closed on Friday at 10 cents/share. Folks assumed this morning that equated to 17 cents/share ("logically" assuming PEOP wouldn't agree to buyout unless it was at some form of premium above current share price). Well, works out to about 1.8 cents a share, an order of magnitude lower. Watching huge buy orders going in at mid-teen (cents) and then huge selling down, but some still haven't gotten the word and are buying even at 6 or 7 cents/share.
