I just cut and pasted three of Beattie's scans, including the one you mention. They all run without alteration or emendation. Under Help/About my scan version is 2,0,0,3. I would suggest you try bypassing the Open command by doing File/Run/Add/ [paste]. See if it goes then. -GB
