Let me add to Cowpland-Matthews alliance theory.

At last years annual meeting, Cowpland mentioned a Newbridge-Corel alliance. Could, the Video spin-off, Matthews raising 21MM, be this alliance? After all, video-conferencing is a huge market. Corel has only managed to grab 1% of the market share, so there is lots of room for growth.

Both companies would bring enough to the table for this venture to really take-off.

How big is this video-conferencing market? -- it's huge!

Have a look at this report:

idcresearch.com

In 1996, Corel Video contributed only $566,000 to Corel's total revenue. If Corel-Newbridge can capture 25% of the market, that could mean $150MM in revenues.
