Conspiracy? I sure hope not. If I had thought that such a thing was illegal I wouldn't have posted it on half a dozen public message boards.

Like I said, I see this (asking people to remove their shares from the short pool) as similar to recommending that someone purchase a stock. If enough people respond in either case (removing from short pool or buying the stock) it would cause the price to rise.

I really would really appreciate it if someone with a business law backround would chime in.
