Since we support the PSC1000 in addition to a number of other processors with out SwiftX cross-compilers, we've included it in our benchmark series, which is published on our web site. The answer is, yes, it's extremely fast!

It's being promoted as a "Java chip," and while it will almost certainly run Java faster than most processors, it was really designed as a Forth chip, and Forth will get the maximum performance out of it.

Our PSC1000 customers include Boeing and a number of lesser-known outfits.
