Josh, 90% of all options contracts expire worthless. This is a timing game few people master. The risk is even higher when dealing with uncovered options. If you do go this route, go slow and only go on what you know. Once you have determined how much you are willing to risk , cut it by 50%. Never deal in otions unless you already have capital gains in which to offset possible losses during the same calander year. That way part of the money you are gambling with is Uncle Sams. Take your time and find and read as much as you can on the subject before moving into the options arena. This is an area where you want a full service broker who knows and understands the risks to keep you from falling off a cliff. Good Luck!
