Allen: my records indicate that Pilgrim Baxter used to own (pre-split) 1,718,750 shares or 12.40%. The 13-G suggests that the 9.4% is a new purchase of 1,754,150 post split. Is their net now 21.8% or 9.4%?

[general info on pilgrim baxter at networth.galt.com ]

The 13-G contains:
"(10) CHECK BOX IF THE AGGREGATE AMOUNT [X]
IN ROW (9) EXCLUDES CERTAIN SHARES*"

does the check indicate some shares are excluded?? and if so, how many?

this is followed by (a bit further down in the 13-G):

"ITEM 10. CERTIFICATION
THE FOLLOWING CERTIFICATION SHALL BE INCLUDED IF THE STATEMENT IS FILED PURSUANT
TO RULE 13d-1(b):
BY SIGNING BELOW I CERTIFY THAT, TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE AND BELIEF, THE
SECURITIES REFERRED TO ABOVE WERE ACQUIRED IN THE ORDINARY COURSE OF BUSINESS
AND WERE NOT ACQUIRED FOR THE PURPOSE OF AND DO NOT HAVE THE EFFECT OF CHANGING
OR INFLUENCING THE CONTROL OF THE ISSUER OF SUCH SECURITIES AND WERE NOT
ACQUIRED IN CONNECTION WITH OR AS A PARTICIPANT IN ANY TRANSACTION HAVING SUCH
PURPOSES OR EFFECT."

And FWIW I found this rummaging around the web:
"LOSER: GARY PILGRIM: Pilgrim Baxter & Associates Momentum investor
Pilgrim lost a bundle on January 8, when the shares of Shiva plummeted 45 percent in value on fears of lower-than-expected
fourth-quarter earnings. Pilgrim's 2.9 million shares represent more
than 10 percent of the stock, making his funds the second-largest owner
of the Bedford, Massachusetts, networking company. " at worth.com
