Some highlights from the taped interview. Whole conversation can be heard at
Wall Street Interviews, Inc. : Weekly Features Item

11 patents
6 patent pendings
Our leaders background,
Lawyer, did securities law for 32 years. Very familiar with doing ipo, mergers, private placements, acquisitions etc.
worked at securities and exchange for 2 years

Knows investment bankers, financial firms, accounting law firms which gives access to critical personnel in the industry.

Smart cards are the fastest growth area in the electronics industry, should last 10-15 years.

Problem with smart cards now is they have a semiconductor chip and antenna. Antenna can fall off, uses 6 wires to attach the antenna, if one breaks or falls off, it does not work. Wires so small you need a laser to guide the installation of wires.

Advantages of there system are no wires, bonding, heat, soldering, etc.

NPEC uses a single coat of hardened diamond coating, which is conductive. Then take the chip and press onto hardened surface. This results in hundreds if not thousands of connections.

This could be the standard for all smart cards in the future, costs are about 20-25% less than current methods.

Smart label, could be used for all air line luggage, (mandated by the air line industry). Last year they shipped over 62 million pieces of luggage. Could be used for Federal Express. Last year they did excess of 1.6 billion packages.

Major aerospace company has recently specified using this technology in one of their critical applications. This helps validate the technology in a different field.

Also talking with a printed circuit board manufacturet in California. Working on establishing our technology in that area also.

Decided about the first of the year, that rather than go it alone they would partner with someone else. They have two companies they work with and are very, very close to signing with the third. This would be a company that would allow NPEC to deal with parity when dealing with some of the industry giants. By doing joint adventure they also get the advantage of plant, personnel and equipment.

If this technology works it should bring the larger companies to NPEC for licensing of the technology.

Financing from Europe, sounds like they are close to getting what they would need to complete these things.

Probably be concentrating first with Europe, then China, South America, and India. High populations without the huge communications infrastructure, computers, etc. which we have in the U.S. Sounds like smart cards are used in Europe more than they are in the U.S. at this time. In countries without our technology and infrastructure the smart cards are being used for meals, theater tickets, electronic purses and about anything you can think of.

One expert from the industry said: If the solution works, it will have a great impact on the market. As a result we have to be careful
with information in advance. This technology can disturb the business of some big players.

Also working with Multi Tape. They supply chip models that hold the chips in place for the current production methods. They supply about 15 companies with these models. A good company to be working with because of their contacts in the industry.

NPEC says they have done internal testing on their product. Some of the companies they are working with will also be testing them.

Hoping for good results.
