I would guess that ATHM was down on the portland court decision, not the HSAC IPO. Since it means that AT&T could be forced to offer other ISP's access to it's cable besides ATHM. I would interpret this as bad news for any cable-only ISP's, HSAC included, since the door might be wide open for outside competition, including the likes of AOL and all of the other larger ISP's. In fact, the competitive advantage to existing ISP's is huge since most customers would prefer a simple "upgrade" instead of switching out completely to some other ISP. WGAT seems to offer a different product, so it could remain unaffected.

Technically speaking, it doesn't seem impossible that many ISP's could be linked to a single cable service.
