Hi,

Instead of everyone joking about this, why not do something worthwhile? Take some of your time and help another person.

I've been involved in a Red Cross program for the past 10 years on and off (no one's perfect) where you get the opportunity to donate your platelets.

a quote from this page: Platelets are cell fragments in the bloodstream that enable blood to clot. Cancer and chemotherapy treatments can affect the body's ability to produce platelets. Patients with leukemia, aplastic anemia, those receiving chemotherapy or undergoing bone marrow transplants must rely on platelets donated by healthy volunteers to prevent bleeding episodes that can be life-threatening.
