I saw the same twisted comment in a thestreet.com article last week. The simple logic lost by the press is that if you're really a day trader, you DON'T HAVE A PORTFOLIO.

So if they're just dumb speculators, why slap the evil "day trader" label on them? Because it raises mindless fear in their readers.
