Interesting Mitsui NY Market Comment This AM @ mitsui-gold.com ***** OT Morning Richard, Sometimes it seems the rest of the world would be better off if we just left them alone. I watched a segment of 60 minutes last night about Bangladesh. Western 'experts' with the best of intentions installed shallow wells in the villages to wipe out Cholera that was killing a few thousand a year when they were using surface water. Now, some years later, they find out that almost all shallow wells there are contaminated with arsenic and this will result in hundreds of thousands of deaths (1 in 10) due to cancer. Good water was 900 feet down in one village and it took them more than a week around the clock to drill a well by hand (4 people on a shift). :-(( John
