Shop; Internet Provider Broadens Distribution Across Canada
TORONTO, June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- I.D. Internet Direct Ltd. (Vancouver: IDX - news) has acquired national distribution with Future Shop. Internet Direct will provide both its retail Internet sign-up kit and its bundled version for sales with Future Shop's line of personal computers.

Initial marketing campaigns at Future Shop will offer a $20 rebate incentive to customers allowing them to purchase the Internet Starter Kit with one month's unlimited use, then claim a rebate from Internet Direct which equals the kit's purchase price, effectively making the 30 day trial, free. Other programs will offer the Internet Direct kit as incentives to purchasers of personal computers. In all cases, the customer is free to choose whether they commit to Internet Direct long term or not. This differs from typical Internet offerings that require minimum one-year commitments in exchange for the ''first month free'' offers.
