Ultratech Stepper Names Bruce Wright Fincl Chief
SAN JOSE -- Ultratech Stepper Inc. (UTEK) named Bruce Wright as senior vice president finance and chief financial officer, effective Monday.
Wright's responsibilities include all aspects of finance, administration and information services. He reports directly to Arthur Zafiropoulo, chairman and chief executive.
Wright succeeds William G. Leunis III, who will remain with Ultratech as senior vice president of business development, the company said in a press release Monday.
Most recently, Wright served as chief financial officer of Spectrian Corp. (SPCT), which he joined in 1997. Prior to that he served as financial chief of Tencor Instruments, an advanced wafer inspection systems company, from 1991 until its acquisition by KLA Instruments in 1997, which formed KLA/Tencor.
Ultratech Stepper designs, makes and markets photolithography steppers used to make semiconductors and thin film heads for disk drives.
