Steve - RE: "However, AMD cannot get enough tnt-2's apparently :)"

Looks like you aren't the only one who knows that:

This is something Anand said which was put on www.AMDZone.com's page.

"Speaking of which, I'm still working on the Super7 article that I promised in my Hercules Dynamite TNT2 Ultra review. I'm waiting for NVIDIA to release these elusive 3DNow! drivers of theirs but it seems like there is always a delay with things like this. From my experience with the updated drivers, Super7 users will be very happy, the K6-3 suddenly becomes VERY competitive with the Pentium III under Quake 2 with a TNT2 card. Maybe this is the reason AMD is looking into equipping all of their review K7 systems with a fast TNT2 Ultra card ;) Oh speaking of which, hmm the K7...this time around I'm going to play it fair and wait for AMD to send me a K7 eval unit instead of publishing the data I have now. The K7 is looking quite nice and the performance is great, considering AMD's history of weak FPU performance. Is it 1801298301298 times faster than a Pentium III? Nope, and if you think that, then you'll be in for a disappointment. Is it one third of the speed of a Pentium III? Nope, and if you think that, you'll be in for a bit of a surprise. That's all for now, before I say something AMD won't like ;)"

Imagine a K7 system, WITH 3D Now! optimized drivers!
