Hi Steven, long time no post.

I read with interest your description of the place with "funky hydraulics." I am not a thrill-seeker, and things like that are the reason why.

I have been thinking about getting a kayak, for paddling on the Occoquan, which is quiet, and the Chesapeake, which is much like the ocean. I have never had lessons in rolling. Do I need to?
