There is a CBR Brewing Co. press release concerning NMO that is of interest.
biz.yahoo.com
In it CBR Brewing Co. state they have NOT been able to confirm NMO's exclusive brewing licence. I think the plot is starting to thicken a bit, and there could still be some more "political" maneuvering going on.
In their press release, CBR Brewing Co claim they own a 40% interest in the Zhaoqing Brewery, and that Nobile has the other 60%. Yet NMO, on their web site, list the Municipality of Zhaoqing as owning the 40% (that CBR Brewing Co claim they own). .... Very confusing to me. Did the Municipality of Zhaoqing sell their 40% interest to CBR Brewing Co??
According to Yahoo, CBR Brewing Company (CBRB) is listed on the OTC.
I got the following from one of the CBRB press releases:
CBR Brewing Company, Inc., through its subsidiaries and affiliates, is engaged in the production, distribution and marketing of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer in the People's Republic of China. As of December 31, 1998, the Company (CBRB) owned effective interests of 60%, 24% and 33% in three brewing facilities currently producing Pabst Blue Ribbon beer in the People's Republic of China, all of which are managed by the Company. The Company produces Pabst Blue Ribbon beer under a sublicense agreement with Guangdong Blue Ribbon Group Co. Ltd., an affiliated company, which expires on November 6, 2003.
CBRB is a penny stock on the OTC. |
