marc, I can't find the link (No surprise!) but I remember reading that RIG was choosing to no longer be a Norwegian corp also. (RIG started in Norway, I'm sure you know.) I think this would have led to forced selling similar to that in the USA.

Probably selling would be on a smaller scale. ---- But on the other hand, Norwegian institutions have been holding RIG a long old time, and might have had a sizeable chunk. I don't know.

They say it's for the tax advantages, but I'm skeptical about that being the primary reason.
