My belief that "the FAA is lying" is about the only Y2K fact I am 100 percent certain of. You can have reasonable doubts on any of the other stuff mentioned, but how can anyone in their right mind believe the FAA?

It doesn't take a very complicated argument to see that economic effects of significant flight reductions could be quite large.
