Regarding xDSL not being competitive with fiber, are you
suggesting that the future is FTTH? If yes, who is going to
pay fo it?

In actuality both cable and xDSL architectures are
likely to look very similar in the future, with FTTC
and either cable or copper to the home. In fact, I would
venture that VDSL has an excellent chance of becoming
the leading broadband solution to the residential
market.

With respect to the debate between Ramond Duray and you
with respect to broadband data by satellite, Cyberstar
will start its service later this year, and Skybridge
some time next year. My general view is that we will see
terrestrial broadband wireless dominating in cities,
and satellite everywhere else (including suburbs).
