Talked to my Ragen MacKenzie broker about the meeting (dog & pony show) that they had at Microvision on Thursday. It does not appear that Ragen MacKenzie will be picking up coverage anytime soon. Peter Jacobs is the research analyst that is responsible for tracking the company and he considers the company to be more of a biotech-type company than anything else due to the reliance on developmental contracts. From the conversation I had, I expect that Jacobs won't initiate coverage until there is a high probability of production level contracts, which by the company's most recent projections will not be until very late this year or first half of next year. On a positive note, Peter evidently does have a personal position in the company (at about the $14.50-level) and is claimed to have said that he is comfortable accumulating more at the current level for long-term investors. Due to the nature of its revenue streams he thinks it could swing from $14 - $38. He says that it is almost certain that the warrants will be called immediately after the 20-day period above $24 and that the subsequent sale of new converted shares may provide downward pressure on the stock.
