Ratio Analysis.

I download data from Reuters. I get charts on all 12 Sectors and 115 Industry groups. I use relative strength to determine to which sector the money is going. I divide transportation chart by S&P 500 chart and look at the resulting graph. If the graph is going up then transportation is outperforming S&P 500 and if it is going down then transportation is underperforming S&P 500. Let us say that transportation is outperperforming S&P 500. I then get the relative strength for the industry groups within the transportation sector to see where money is going. Let us say that the RS lines for Airlines are going up. I then get the RS for the stocks for Airline like American Airline and so forth and check out their charts and decide to buy one of these stocks.

Any questions?
