While everyone is arguing about different opinions, Don't count out MER. Ever thought about them "buyin" a bank themselves? A big one with a name and revenues? and offer banking too?

It is too late for them to buy EGRP, but NOT too late to merge and take banking online. Lot's of banks out there.

I love E-Trade, but there is competition in the wings. and strong too once they commit the dollars to it. I still think EGRP is a winner, but there can be obstacles. Don't get me wrong, I want that $150/share. Just suggesting caution.
