Are you serious. The politicians in Portland still think that what they're doing is good for their consituents? Don't they understand that this will delay next generation services? T - when they were a monopoly enjoyed that status for 50 years allowing them to build out the infrastructure services neccessary for todays telephony communications. They not only paid for the infrastructure but they enjoyed years (many years ...ok too many years) of profits. Divesture made sense only after T made the investment and received the return. Why then should we change the model. Why should a company be forced to compete on infrastructure they build themselves? Seems stupid to build the infrastructure if it will only enable the competition..... What a bunch of dolts you have up there in Oregon. The politicians must be eating too many shrooms.. OG
