Dividend update!!
As stated before the ex-dividend date which has yet to be determined pending registration and SEC approval, which all shareholders will need to be holders of TNRG before this ex-date to be entitled to 1 share of TIPS for every 4 shares of TNRG as stated in 5/18 PR.
tnrg.com
The ex-dividend date will either be next business day after SEC declares registration effective or day after pay date depending wether dividend equals less than 25% or is 25% or greater. If dividend equals less than 25% ex-date will be next business day. Having talked with someone at NASD weeks ago, I asked if it would be necessary to be a shareholder 3 days prior to ex-date to allow for trade settlement period and was under the impression the person I spoke with thought that was the case. According to Ameritrade and AG Edwards whom I called today to verify, I was told, you only need to be shareholder day before ex-date and 3 day settlement does not apply. When ex-date is determined there should be a filing and or PR stating when ex-date is either day before if dividend is less then 25% or well in advance if dividend is 25% or greater. Consult your financial advisor and or NASD to verify! To give an example which a shareholder of TNRG I talked with this weekend used, if TRNG and TIPS were both trading at $1 and you receive 1 share of TIPS for every 4 shares of TNRG then that would be a 25% dividend. So with that example in mind if TNRG share price is lower than TIPS at time of ex-date then dividend would be greater than 25% and ex-date will be day after pay date and if TNRG price is higher than TIPS the dividend would be less than 25% and ex-date would be next business day after registration is declared effective by SEC. T A P appreciates the fact that this shareholder took the time to contact T A P so that this could be more accurately explained for the benefit of shareholders. Again verify all information with your financial advisor and or NASD.
T A P has received 700K shares of TNRG and 1 mil shares of TIPS from the company for services provided for a period of 1 year. For a complete write-up on TNRG/TIPS and other Turn Around Picks and free membership go to T A P profile for url.
