I haven't given up hope yet: washtimes.com Starr may drop bombshell on Hillary Mr. Starr's office has written at least one draft indictment, accusing the first lady of lying to federal investigators about her role in the Whitewater affair. The ongoing Whitewater and Travelgate inquiries have focused on Mrs. Clinton, particularly statements she made under oath about her role as a lawyer for Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan Association, and the 1993 firing of seven White House Travel Office workers who later were replaced by Clinton cronies. Mr. Starr said questions remain over Mrs. Clinton's role in the legal representation of a failed Madison real estate venture known as Castle Grande, and that evidence regarding her work -- specifically her Rose Law Firm billing records --could not be found. The records, subpoenaed in 1994, were discovered without explanation in the White House living quarters in 1996.
