And I'm hearing about this incredible surge in the "daytrading" phenomenon. Made possible by the deep discount brokers. This may well prove to be a fad when it is widely discovered, and learned the hard way, that this is no way to make money!

In my own situation, I feel that I cannot even be tempted to daytrade, as I've learned from daytrading futures in the 80's that the road is just too rocky. I had a good deal on commissions, paying $15 for CBT and CME contracts and $6 for MCE contracts.

I had a good percentage of winners over losers, but, on balance, my daytrading profits were totally eaten up by commissions. Before the decade ended, I came to the realization that I was simply gambling and that I couldn't beat the house!

I see EGRP is up more than 10% today.
