I was chatting with a lady today at MDB who is handling a transer for me. She said they were doing about 50 new accounts a day which is up from about 20 per day a month ago. They are hiring more help since they are expecting 200 per day by August. More brokers too. I did my first two trades today with MDB. One was to buy more SWS at market and it took 11 seconds to get confirmation back. Logging on was fast. I had hoped logging on would be much faster than E-Trade and it was. That is the main reason I switched. Too many accounts at E-trade for their servers to handle meant waiting sometimes for a few minutes to get logged on and a few more minutes to get to the order page.
