U.S. federal district court judge Audrey B. Collins issued an order on June
4, 1999, lifting the warrant that had been issued on May 30, 1999, for the
arrest of Randy Jackson, president and chief executive officer of the
company. The arrest warrant related to a civil default judgment issued
against Mr. Jackson. In addition, Judge Collins issued a stay of
proceedings in the case based on a showing by Mr. Jackson of substantial
likelihood of success on the merits of his defense against the default
judgement.
"I'm pleased that the arrest warrant has been lifted, and I intend to
continue to vigorously contest the default judgement that was entered
against me," commented Mr. Jackson.
