AOL is an ISP, albeit a sticky one
What is an ISP anyway Frank?
I've honestly not been able to decide, most of all in a broadband cable context.

AOL does not own/lease any physical hardware you can dial into that connects you to the internet.
AOL does provide e-mail service. So does Yahoo!

If AOL hires someone to do the physical interface and puts an AOL name on it does that make AOL an ISP?
