I also came close to winning the Mock Stock Market game for 7th graders in 1989 on my friends' dad's McDonnell Douglas recommendation. The stock I was mainly touting, Monsanto, didn't do as well but wasn't too bad either.

P.S. The starter of this AMD thread was 13 at the time! Never underestimate child prodigies.

P.P.S. Speaking of Star Wars, did you see Phantom Menace yet?
