Monty, Just comment out the input file for now if you want to see the results. Many people develop a scan to "pre scan" the market and collect a subset of stocks to do further scans against. You might for example only be interested in stocks between 10$ and 60$ with average daily volume greater than 50,000. Run such a scan once a week or so and you will cut your universe of stocks to perform subsequent scans down to a more manageable number. I'm sure the input file "Volume.lst" was the author's personal implementation of the above... Michael
