PAT, although bad ticks are a fact of life, you don't have to live with them. I use QCharts from Quote.com (love it). Quote.com cleans up the bad ticks. On their charts, the bad-tick portion of a bar is in yellow and does not affect the Y Axis of the chart.

For instance, if MSFT is trading between 75 and 80, your Y Axis should start at about 74 and extend to about 81. With DTNIQ for example (I'm and ex-subscriber), if you had a bad-tick of say 100, your Y Axis would range from 74 to 100. Really screws up the chart. With QCharts, it remains 74 to 81 and the bad portion is in yellow.

Regards,

Dan.
