There are two main uses for the Internet, stock trading is one of them. The guy in Fremont wasn't a day trader. You figure it out.

You're not paranoid, they are out to get you. DarpaNet was turned on for the first time in 1969. Purpose: provide a communications channel for the Federal Government, especially DOD, in case of a nuclear attack.
