Raymond: Your point on performance is well taken and that's why I've encouraged users here who become subscribers to report out on G* performance. So far, we have about 8-10 pioneers blazing the trail and promising to report in results such as call completion rate, voice quality, battery life, and a whole range of other performance parameters. So far, most SI users seem to be in North America, but we're hoping Maurice can bring along some over the pond subscribers.

I agree with you totally, no one wants to own an unreliable, poor performing, high cost techno toy. Most of us here however have placed our $$ on the reputation of Bernie and the Q in regards to technology and quality of G*. Hope we're not disappointed.

So far, the only performance feedback we've gotten is from G* hype and demo's from shareholder meetings and phone recordings. Not enough info in my opinion to assess completion rates and dropped calls. Someone from Yahoo board claims to have tested a phone, but I'm not too confident in his credentials. ANY ONE ELSE HAVE DATA ON G* PHONE PERFORMANCE?? Otherwise I look forward to hearing from our SI subscribers as service is rolled out this fall.
