A friend of mine and myself were selling OPTIONS short on T-Bonds in Chicago.. He had purchased Bersett's (sp?) Ossilators. We were also using another called the TRIX it free at www.omegaresearch.com if you own Tradestation or Supercharts. Anyways the ossilators are just like MACD or MOMentum I sold some puts cause the ossilators were at the bottom and about to cross to the upside.. Well the market CONTINUED DOWN Like a dummy I froze and fell into the HOPE MODE... I got slaughtered BIG TIME... T-Bonds fell from 110 to about 106 which is $4000 per option ALL WHILE THE OSSILATORS were in the "Oversold" area. Problem with oscillator is they merely COMPARE Current price action with PREVIOUS PRICE Hard Lesson for me.... YIKES that HURT
