IPOGirl, " I was planning on opening an account with them, until I read that they deal in margin accounts exclusively" I don't know where you see that, if you want to trade on margin you must enable your account. This link gives info for both cash & margin accounts. datek.com "To margin-enable your account, login to the Datek Online Investment Site with "LOGIN" and select Enable Margin from the Account Options pull-down menu.* You can disable margin from your account by mailing or faxing a signed request to our Customer Support Center."
