Hi John, Sorry for not declaring my self, I have changed my connection details. Until now I have only used SI as a vehicle to keep up to date on my personal stocks It was also interesting to see what was happening in my Industry. I am a CAD sales person, whose hobbies include stocks in CAD. I left Mentor in April, joined Xynetix, and was recently acquired by Avant!, hence my interest. I think that Avant! will survive, I base this on more information than from History. CAD companies don't die. Look at Cadnetix etc. Do you go back that far? The market makers do not understand our business, look at ASDV in Feb., the market hammered them because a huge order slipped from one quarter to another. I am going to bet that the same happens to Avant! close to or on the day of the court case ruling. I intend to gamble at that point. My Question is when is that day? If I leave it to late and the stock does take off I will miss my opportunity. I do now work for AVANT! but do not have an axe to grind. I am joining post all the history. My Investment strategy to date has been to invest in CAD stocks when they are marked down, and sell when they go back up. I have Cadence and Mentor stocks, and allot of Madge but that's a different story
Look forward to hearing from you, if you want to talk, I just want a non-company view of this matter. |
