FAIRLAWN, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 7, 1999--FineLine Properties Inc. (OTC BB:FNLN - news) Monday brings the total number of cartoons it has under its character umbrella to 147 with the addition of its newest group, ''The Computoons.''
More than just cartoons for entertainment, the Computoons are designed to help kids learn all about using a computer through the use of characters representing computer components.
''The Computoons, along with our eKids, form a complete loop in entertainment, educational and teaching aid applications for children to learn about computer hardware and software use and how both work together,'' explained FineLine President Robert Petry.
With trademarked names such as Floppy Disk, Touch Pad, Keyboard, and others representing hardware elements, these 15 cute characters show how they work together to mimic the functions of computer hardware interaction. FineLine's newest creations can be seen by going to the company's Web site at www.finelineproperties.com where the entire FineLine cartoon family resides. The application of the Computoons will consist of CD-ROM instructional games as well as fold out computer usage maps, stickers and interactive applications.

The company will actively seek software gaming, animation, publishing and sponsorship partners to for these cartoon character groups.
