Hello Wade,

< Is there anyway we can make some profit in these take over Plays>
I would think that if one were to buy equal dollar amounts of a handful of well managed water utilities they could do very well. Like you said Wade, all of a sudden they all become take over candidates. This stir should get the price of any well managed water utility moving upward. And by spreading your money around you increase your odds of owning one that actually gets taken over. Another benefit is you'll earn somewhere in the area of a four percent dividend while you wait for the action to begin. Where else can one enjoy the chance at good capital appreciation while earning a decent dividend in a defensive area of a seemingly over valued stock market.
