Robert and Sam,

Based on what I know now $16 1/8 last year was a fire sale. SEG was a value play at that point. Perhaps the value play of the year for a company this size.

Sam, thanks for the clarification. I had always sensed that SNDK might be a "protectorate" of SEG, with Big Brother ready to step in should things start to get rocky for SNDK. This is clearly not the case as you describe the situation. In any case, Al Shugart remains on the SNDK B.O.D. and hopefully will bring some magic with him in his bag of tricks.

Robert, SEG management has been extraordinarily prescient with its investments in start-ups. They are almost like a holding company or a mutual fund in some respects. Break the company down to bare bones and look what you see. It is almost like finding a $5 dollar bill in an old pair of pants.

Since all SEG shareholders are SNDK shareholders by default, I wanted to point people in the direction of an investment piece I did for the Gorilla thread. It is hard not to post it here without being accused of pumping. I am a SNDK long, so the write-up should be viewed in that context. Also, this is a one time deal. I promise not to post any more OT stuff here.

All the Best,

Ausdauer
