other interesting points to consider...the internet actually restricts the breadth of information--portals are the problem

velocity is restricted by server speed, which can be 'fixed'

messages readable by anybody, as they could reside on thousands of servers

the internet is 'big brother' paid by the little guy

ironic, but even then, i think that the little guy may still be ahead
as long as you remember the possibilities, both ways
