Searle Sennett on the SAf mining thread some weeks ago made the comment that even DBRSY own stock trades at a price that gives no value to the diamond operations and inventory. When you start asking questions about DeBeers, like digging a well, it's a deep subject.

The new guys don't seem to understand it but De Beers was S africa, and is now trying to extricate itself and as musch of its assets as can be made mobile.
