Hi Neocon, I invited you to the DAR thread because I felt you would find kindred spirits here. I still believe that. It's unfortunate that a couple of people felt the need to want to control your postings. The way I figure it is something like this...

There's been a party going on at Penni's house for a few years. Someone new arrives, he has a personality which fills the room. At first people enjoy the new person and share in his interests. After a while a couple of people tire of the person and look for reasons to say meanspirited things toward him, so they do. Then the wit of intelligence and strength of ego enters into the fray. Feelings get hurt in the process. Very unfortunate.

One of the things I've enjoyed the most about you since meeting you in cyberspace on the Sanity check is the wealth of interests and desire to talk about different things you have. Your personality fills each thread you inhabit, and I see that as a pleasant thing. Others (possibly) as a threat to what is or was. Change is a constant process. This thread is always evolving and changing.

Don't give up on DAR. I believe a few people were just having a couple of lousy days in 3D life and brought it to the thread. It happens. They're actually great people too, you just caught them on a lousy couple of days. It's unfortunate and not a normal occurance here.

Michael
