Thats the whole problem with portals.... where does a website end and a portal begin anyway since theoretically any site can become a portal. The thing that differentiates gnet a little is the SI community which rivals the AOL communities and for the most important topic - financial info. Everything else about gnet is similiar in some ways to the other portals but SI stands alone, so the question is how much is it worth. My opinion is SI makes gnet worth more than the also-ran portals, until somebody knocks SI off the thone. Since the mkt cap of gnet is lower than everybody else I don't have to make too many decisions here. But the stock still needs coverage to move.
