Short squeeze may now happen at any time. I have requested that E-trade send my share certificates to ensure I own real shares instead of the phantom proxy ones. They requested that I fax them a request but otherwise it was not any problem in sending me the restricted shares. Cheers Yes, everyone should request taking possession of their certs. Mine that were registered have never shown up. I do show receipt for the 1/3 that was in street name. I have requested those as well.
