Dale, I have been in of many of the favorites for years: INTC, MSFT, CSCO, and, more recently, EMC, XCIT and ATHM. I don't consider myself a gambler and would like to think I make measured decisions based, in part, upon information and, more particularly, upon my gut feeling based upon what's going on around me.

I remember when I was a kid, perhaps ten years old, sitting at the dinner table with my father, who was always a conservative investor, and suggesting to him that computers are great and that he should buy a company called IBM. Of course, he didn't. But I had that feeling, then, that IBM would become a great company. I have primarily relied upon those same instincts to this day. And while I have not always been right, I have been right more often than not.

This is both a savvy and a good thread. While I do not participate here to any significant degree, I enjoy the varied opinions of many of the posters. It has been, and continues to be, an education for me and I appreciate well reasoned views, both those that are consistent with mine and those that are not.

I have had a feeling about SUNW for the many years I have been invested in it. Over the years, it has been my best performer, and I believe it will continue to be one of my best performers. Often, because of the advanced and changing technology and my lack of an abundance of time, I can't bring myself current with all that is happening with this company. However, my gut tells me that SUNW will do very well over the years. I really believe that, and my only dilemma is whether to buy more, particularly when my cost basis is so low.

Just MHO.
