Eric, I did try to be nice but that did not work with this blockhead.

As Eric has suggested ......drumroll.......This is the DAYTRADING thread. (Got that, ztect?) So here goes.

On CNBC a few minutes ago there was an interview with a representative of a new trading facility called PRIMEX. If I understand his description correctly, what Primex is is the 'next step' after ECNs.
To paraphrase: When trading with ECNs, you are getting the tail end of the action, with little to no interaction with the MMs and the main market. With Primex, you will get better connectivity to the market action and the major benefit of Primex is the opportunity for price improvement. Has anyone looked into this? Is there a possibility that this system can help us make a coupla exta bucks? Can any of you educators explain what it is Primex is actually proposing to do here?
Just wondering.

The second item from CNBC is Bandit University:

Discussed on CNBC on Monday 06/07. The parent company is Front Runner Technology (kinda like that name). The product that seems to be of most interest is the "Frontrunner Bandit", a software program that analyzes the activity of the program traders and index arbitraguers. So we can jump the gun.....
