Naw, Cobalt had her own problems, and Joan has been okay with me. We even had a few cordial, if inconclusive, PMs, where I told her, among other things, that I could not understand her problem with you:-)...I never nailed down the answer to why Cobalt thought that she had my number. The closest I came was in a reposting of an exchange long ago with Sherrie Fox, where I was somewhat abrupt with her, that was supposed to demonstrate my "meanness". In the context of political debate, it wasn't much of anything, but in the context of a touchy- feelie thread, it looked bad. Remember that doofie comparison of FDR, Churchill, and Hitler that made the rounds, that was supposed to show that personal morals were irrelevant, and therefore who cared if Bubba was slime? She posted a version of that, too which I strongly objected, and when she tried to disclaim all responsibility, I observed that after all she must have meant something by posting it. Big woop! JLA would have called her a moron:-)...By the way, a number of people on the thread PMd their support, and some even posted good wishes outright, so it was not a total rout!
