I think they need sales people based around the country to cover the regional areas. In fact, I would like to see an office somewhere in the northwest for that region. The company can contact potential clients, but they need someone on the client's doorstep to make the deal.

I do hope that these are just a few people working from their homes or a small rented office and not full-blown offices with all the associated overhead (answering service, administrative helpers, lighting, heating/cooling, etc). IMO, they should still have one channel into the company (the corporate site) and that office can divvy the work.

Just an opinion...
